Rio Vista House was originally constructed for the  Chaffey brothers, who played a pivotal role in the irrigation and agricultural development of the area. The house features beautifully landscaped gardens, which were designed to complement its grand facade. Visitors can wander through these lush grounds, soaking in the serene atmosphere.

The history of the Chaffey's is one of Triumph and Tragedy with a never give up attitude. That attitude still resonates strong in the Sunraysia region.

Inside, the house is filled with antique furnishings and period artifacts, giving guests a glimpse into life during the late 19th century. Guided tours provide insights into the Chaffey brothers’ legacy and the house's role in the community over the decades.

For those exploring Mildura, a visit to Rio Vista House is not just a trip into the past; it's a chance to appreciate the architectural beauty and historical significance of this remarkable residence. Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for a peaceful retreat, Rio Vista House is a must-see on your Mildura itinerary.
